No attorney-client relationship is created between you and LegalDocSoft through your use of the platform.
LegalDocSoft is a document preparation tool designed to assist licensed attorneys with the creation of legal forms, including the New Jersey Case Information Statement. The platform provides templates and automated formatting as a convenience. It is not a substitute for professional legal skill, judgment, and experience. Users must apply their own professional expertise when preparing, reviewing, and filing any documents generated through the platform.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, legality, reliability, and appropriateness of all information and data you enter into the platform. LegalDocSoft does not review, verify, or validate any information you provide for legal accuracy or sufficiency. You agree to review all generated documents carefully before filing or submitting them and acknowledge that you bear sole responsibility for the final documents.
LegalDocSoft does not represent or warrant that any documents, forms, or templates provided through the platform comply with or reflect applicable federal, state, or local laws, court rules, or regulations. Laws and court requirements change frequently, and it is your responsibility to ensure that all documents meet current legal standards before filing.
THE PLATFORM AND ALL SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. LEGALDOCSOFT DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL LEGALDOCSOFT, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.
IN ALL CASES, LEGALDOCSOFT'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED TWO DOLLARS ($2.00), REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF ACTION OR THEORY OF LIABILITY.
When you use the client portal feature to collect information from your clients, you are solely responsible for ensuring that you have obtained all necessary consents and authorizations. LegalDocSoft does not review, verify, or assume responsibility for any information submitted by third parties through the client portal. You acknowledge that the accuracy of client-submitted data is your responsibility to verify.
While LegalDocSoft implements commercially reasonable security measures to protect your data, including encryption at rest and in transit, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. LegalDocSoft cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data and shall not be liable for any unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss of data beyond our reasonable control.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LegalDocSoft and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the platform, your violation of these terms, or the documents you create using the platform.
LegalDocSoft reserves the right to modify this disclaimer at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
